Meadows of Dan Ruritans
(540) 230-5255 In 1949 Ruritan National chartered the Meadows of Dan Ruritan Club with 30 members comprised of farmers, teachers, a postmaster, a rural mail carrier, a telephone operator, a minister, a mechanic, and a carpenter. More importantly, they were friends and neighbors committed to improving their remote community in Patrick County. in 2018, we celebrated 69 years of strong organization focusing on the true purpose of community. Fundraising benefits college scholarships, community building upgrades, elementary school programs, and needs of individuals. We host the famous Pancake Days on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays in October each year. Meetings are held on the 1st Thursday evening of each month at 7pm at the Community Building
